Margaret Koen, MSN, RN, IBCLC
I have been a registered nurse for almost 30 years helping women & their children, including babies in the Intensive Care Nursery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Lactation and education have always been a part of my nursing career. As a board certified lactation consultant, I am in network with a vast number of colleagues, who may be consulted with your permission for challenging cases. I believe that breastfeeding is a relationship between a mother and her child, but it is not necessarily without its learning curves, for both mom and baby! If you or your baby are not happy on your breastfeeding journey, please consider making an appointment. I would be honored to help you, and no issue is too small. In fact, moms usually remark, “Why didn’t I do this earlier!” Click on the My Philosophy link to learn more about me.
Big shout out to Peggy Koen for helping Maeve and I during our consultation sessions. We are forever indebted to you. You knew how important it was to me to be successful with breastfeeding, you heard me, listen to me and gave me the keys to success.
